Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty was my November Book of the Month, and this book was interesting to say the least. When I read the description about this book, I was excited because I thought it would be a psychological thriller. Maybe it was, but not in the traditional sense of a thriller. I feel like it had some psychological challenges that each of the guests had to face, so it did have that going for it.
Unlike other subscription services, Book of the Month Club actually lets you choose the book you will receive that month. My current subscription is the month to month, but they also have subscriptions for every three months and annually. Every month, I pay $14.99 for my BOTM. One of the great things about this service is that you can choose to skip a month if none of the books interest you. I have been getting this subscription on and off for years now, and it is probably one of my favorite subscriptions. While I definitely love the mystery and surprise concept of other subscription boxes, I also really enjoy that I get to choose my book of the month.
For this post, I am going to show what was available for November and what I decided to get and why I decided to skip on the others. 🙂
